Click here Pictured Above: The Worthington, MN Proclaim Team Ministry Starts Here!Since the start of Proclaim Aviation Ministries, we have helped over 100 families enter into full-time mission service, using aviation as a way of sharing the Gospel and love of Jesus Christ! And when I say "we," I mean to say that God has used every employee, every volunteer, every Church, and every individual that has partnered together in this endeavor that allows Proclaim missionaries to minister all around the world. The need for aviation is not going away in our generation, and the next generation of missionary pilots and mechanics face a formidable challenge in navigating their way into long-term service. We press on to meet the need, and together we give praise to the Lord who is accomplishing His good and perfect will! "Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up" Galatians 6:9 The Jungle Always WinsThe saying in Peru is that "The jungle always wins." Nowhere is that more obvious than the toll taken on the buildings that need constant upkeep to remain...standing. Over the past three years, John has been part of a work team that has slowly been refurbishing the building (pictured below) that is used for many things including Bible translation. September with SAMAIRthis past September, John was able to help "fill the gap" in Peru while several staff members were traveling. Although this trip did not include any active flying, the time was well spent helping with computer issues, facility needs, loading airplanes, and connecting with new team members as well as reconnecting with many friends. SAMAIR continues to provide much needed access to some of the most remote places being served by the mission community. Please do keep the team in your prayers as the need remains for additional pilots. Family UpdateGioconda continues to enjoy interpreting for hospitals and courts, and as a bonus she is able to work from home during the long, cold Minnesota winters! She will be traveling to Ecuador in early 2024 to spend some time with her Mom and Sister. Karsten is in his final semester at the College of the Ozarks, and is planning on pursuing his Masters of Divinity starting Fall of 2024. Kattiana is enjoying her job as a flight attendant with American Airlines, and as a bonus...we get to fly to see her! Our sincerest gratitude to those that have chosen to stand with us in ministry for the past 23+ years. As we look to 2024, it is with a sense of confidence that the Lord will continue to open the doors that we need to walk (and fly) through. May He alone receive the glory and praise for what is accomplished! There is a growing worldwide “road-less” population that will top one billion people in the year 2030, many of which still need: God’s word in their language, national leaders trained to establish churches, and access to lifesaving medical and humanitarian aid. Our family is just a very small part of a team of many churches, missions, families, and individuals that God has called to go beyond the roads and share His Love!
